Kansas City, Mo. (KFMO) - The Kansas City Chiefs remain undefeated, but as usual, not without a little drama.
The Chiefs (9-0) knocked off the Denver Broncos 16-14 on Sunday, blocking a last-second field goal try to hold on at Arrowhead.
Kansas City trailed early in the game at 14-3, but were able to score a touchdown just before the half to make it 14-10. Harrison Butker added field goals of 28 and 20 yards to give the Chiefs their first lead of the game in the 4th quarter. The Broncos drove down the field and lined up to attempt a 35-yarder with just a couple of seconds remaining, but Leo Chenal burst through the left side of the Broncos' offensive line to block the kick and seal the win.
Kansas City is still the last undefeated team in the NFL. They next face the Buffalo Bills. Kickoff is scheduled for 3:25 p.m.
