Buffalo, NY. (KFMO) - The Kansas City Chiefs have lost for the first time this season, dropping to 9-1 after losing 30-21 to the Buffalo Bills.
Kansas City traded leads with the Bills (8-2) early on, but the Bills led at the half 16-14 with a field goal as time expired. After a scoreless third quarter, the Bills took a 9-point lead with 13 minutes left to play in the 4th. The Chiefs got back to within 2 after a touchdown of their own, but the Bills got the last laugh as quarterback Josh Allen trucked several defenders en route to a 26 yard touchdown with 2 minutes to play. A Patrick Mahomes interception would seal the deal, giving the Bills the 30-21 win.
Mahomes threw 23-33 for 196 yards, with 3 touchdowns and 2 interceptions. Kareem Hunt rushed 14 times for 60 yards. The Chiefs take on the Carolina Panthers (3-7) next Sunday.
