Federal Appeals Court Delivers Decision

Washington, D.C. (KFMO) - A federal appeals court is delivering a victory to President Joe Biden's administration.

A three-judge panel ruled a state law adopted by the Republican-controlled Missouri legislature, that declared several federal gun laws invalid, is unconstitutional. The law declared that certain federal regulations governing the sale, taxation and possession of firearms would be deemed by Missouri infringements on the rights of individuals to keep and bear arms under the Second Amendment.

The U.S. Justice Department went to court to challenge the Missouri law.
