(Tuscaloosa, AL) The Missouri Tigers were embarrassed by Alabama 34-0 Saturday in a battle of nationally ranked SEC opponents.
The Tigers, who were ranked at No. 21 in the nation collected just 239 total yards, while then No. 15 Alabama more than doubled MIZZOU with 486 yards.
Tigers Quarterback Brady Cook left the game early with a hand injury and never returned. Back up QB Drew Pyne threw three interceptions. Luther Burden III was caught three passes for a total of three yards. Brett Norfleet made three receptions for 23 total yards.
Missouri was without star running back Nate Noel. Marcus Carroll picked up the slack collecting 80 yards on 17 carries.
Alabama running back Jam Miller rushed for two touchdowns in the win.
Missouri falls to No. 25 in the most recent AP Top-25 Poll and will have Week 10 off.
