Charleston, S.C. (KFMO) - The Southeast Missouri Redhawks continued their recent run of success Saturday, defeating Charleston Southern 26-13.
SEMO (7-1, 4-0) did not find the endzone until just a few seconds before the half, but kicker DC Pippin's 3 field goals helped the Redhawks maintain a 16-7 advantage over the Buccaneers (1-6, 0-4) at the break.
Paxton DeLaurent and the Redhawks needed only a few minutes in the 3rd quarter to score again, and Pippin added one more field goal for good measure as SEMO picked up its 6th straight win.
SEMO is 7-1 and still undefeated in conference play. The #8 team in FCS will now look toward its home matchup with Gardner-Webb.
