(Columbia, MO) The Missouri Tigers begin the season 3-0 after a win on Saturday over then No. 24 Boston College 27-21.
The Tigers trailed midway through the second quarter 14-3 before a Blake Craig field goal and Luther Burden III reception touchdown paired with a 2-point conversion tied the game up.
Craig would beat the halftime buzzer with a 56 yard field goal giving MIZZOU a 17-14 advantage. Craig hit all four field goals attempted plus an extra point try in the win.
Burden III collected 117 receiving yards and a touchdown on six receptions. Brady Cook completed 21-of-30 passes for 264 yards and added a rushing touchdown. Nate Noel had 22 carries for 121 yards.
MIZZOU (3-0) drops in the most recent AP Top 25 to No. 7 and host Vanderbilt Saturday at 3:15pm.
