Farmington, Mo. (KFMO) - The 19th annual Help the Hungry Bake Sale proved to be a tremendous success, raising $118,000 during Saturday's event.
Event Coordinator Chris Landrum attributed the impressive fundraising total to the community's enthusiastic support, particularly through the popular Cookin’ Clergy Contest, which contributed significantly to the funds raised. Landrum shared that the turnout exceeded expectations, with hundreds of people participating in various ways to make the event a success.
Landrum highlighted the dedication of volunteers, clergy, and attendees who came together to support the cause. Proceeds from the bake sale will benefit food pantries in the Parkland area, providing essential resources to families in need.
The Help the Hungry Bake Sale continues to demonstrate the power of collective effort, bringing people together to make a meaningful difference in the community.
