Arcadia Valley 3rd in State as Christmas Destination

Ironton, Mo. (KFMO) - The website, Tripping.com, a worldwide internet site for vacation rentals, is naming the Arcadia Valley 3rd in the State of Missouri for popular Christmas destinations.

A Board Member with the Arcadia Valley Chamber of Commerce, Michelle Swane, says after getting this honor, chamber officials are excited to get the word out about their "Christmas in the Valley" program that's happening December 14.

Swane explains the Christmas in the Valley parade will take place at 6 p.m. with a special Holiday Concert at 7 a.m. You can also take advantage of vendors throughout the day, Polar Express Rides for the kids, and pictures with Santa.

The push towards Christmas in the Valley begins with a special downtown Christmas decorating party at the Iron County Courthouse Saturday, November 23 at 10 a.m. and everyone's invited to come out and help.
