BackStoppers Benefit Rides a Success

(Bonne Terre, MO) The Officer Lane Burns Memorial Ride and the BackStoppers Fallen Hero's Ride are being called a success after Saturday's motorcycle rides were held as a combined event. Gunner's Law Enforcement Motorcycle Club President, Chad Brown, says all the proceeds from the program will go to the BackStoppers Organization.

Burns was 30 years old when he and his partner, Garrett Worley, answered a disturbance call at a Bonne Terre motel in March of 2022. They were ambushed by a man with a hand gun. The suspect was shot and killed. Worley was seriously wounded in the exchange and has underwent numerous surgeries during his continued recovery.
