Berry Road Bridge Project Being Bid

(Farmington, MO) The Berry Road Bridge Project, that would see a new bridge built on Berry Road north of Bonne Terre, is in the bidding stage after many years of working to secure funding for the structure. The Presiding Commissioner of St. Francois County, Harold Gallaher, says getting the bridge built will open up a northwestern corridor for St. Francois County.

Gallaher adds they don't have a specific time frame in mind for completion of the bridge. Funding from the American Rescue Plan Act and extra money from a special fund created by Missouri Governor Mike Parson helped gain the needed funding for the project.
