Bollinger County Sheriff's Office Investigating Death

Bollinger Co., Mo. (KFMO) - The Bollinger County Sheriff's Office is investigating a death.

According to the sheriff's office, on Saturday, August 17, 2024, at approximately 2:03 p.m., the Bollinger County Sheriff’s Office responded to a residence in reference to a report of a self inflicted gunshot wound. Upon arrival, deputies, first responders, and emergency medical services located one deceased individual.

The investigation is ongoing at this time and an autopsy has been scheduled for Wednesday, August 21, 2024.

The Missouri State Highway Patrol Division of Drug and Crime Control (DDCC) is assisting with the investigation at the request of the Bollinger County Sheriff’s Office.
