Bonne Terre Woman Injured in Highway 67 Crash

(Jefferson County, MO) A woman from Bonne Terre, 47 year old Tonya Barton, is suffering from moderate injuries she sustained in a 2 vehicle collision on Highway 67 Tuesday night in Jefferson County. According to state troopers, it happened at Papin Road just before 7 o'clock. A pickup truck, being driven by 35 year old Drake Fair of McHenry, Illinois, failed to yield at the stop sign at the intersection, with Papin and 67, and hit the drivers' side of Barton's vehicle. Fair, who was not wearing his seat belt, was not injured. Barton, who was wearing hers, was taken to Mercy Hospital Jefferson.
