Boy Dies of Alleged Neglect

(Fredericktown, MO) A Fredericktown couple, Rylee R. Ferraro and Hayden W. Rosener, are facing felony charges in connection to the death of Ferraro's 4 year old son. Information posted to the Fredericktown Police Department's Facebook page indicates at 12:55 am Wednesday Fredericktown Police Department officers were dispatched to Madison Medical Center for suspicious circumstances surrounding an unresponsive juvenile. When police arrived they were notified by medical staff the juvenile had died and showed evidence of abuse or neglect. The mother of the deceased juvenile, Ferarro, was detained immediately at Madison Medical Center. Department officers located and detained the mother’s boyfriend, Rosener, for questioning. After the investigation and interviews were concluded, probable cause was obtained for warrants on Rosener and Ferraro. Rosener faces charges of Abuse or Neglect of a Child Resulting in Death, Endangering The Welfare of a Child 1st Degree, and Possession of a controlled substance. Ferarro is charged with Abuse or Neglect of a Child resulting in Death, and Endangering the Welfare of a Child 1st Degree resulting in death. Ferarro is being held on a $500,000 cash bond and Rosener is being held on a $1,000,000 cash bond.
