(Leadington, MO.) The Mayor of Leadington, Dustin Winick, is resigning his position. KFMO B104 News has learned the Mayor turned in his letter of resignation today. In the letter he states the popularity of the social media platform facebook, promotes misinformation that is making it difficult to move the city forward. This makes the sixth Leadington official to resign. The City Judge and Prosecuting Attorney resigned a month ago, the City Clerk and Court Clerk resigned last Friday, and the Police Chief resigned Monday.
