Brush Fire Saturday Burns 15 Acres

(Park Hills, MO) About 15 acres are reported to be damaged after a brush fire Saturday afternoon in Park Hills on Simms Road. Reports show members of the Bismarck Fire Protection District were dispatched about 4 pm for a report of a small brush fire. The blaze expanded rapidly due to low humidity and high winds until the fire was brought under control. Additional assistance was provided by the Park Hills, Doe Run, Leadington, Farmington, Irondale, Pilot Knob, Potosi, and Desloge Fire Departments.
