Central Schools and SEMO Offer Educational Opportunities to Local Educators

Park Hills, Mo. (KFMO) - The Central R-III School District is partnering with Southeast Missouri State University to provide educators a chance to elevate their qualifications.

Through the SEMO Educators Advantage program, Central faculty and staff will receive a tuition discount on the university's online programs. This includes undergraduate, graduate, and Pathways for Paraprofessionals programs.

Central R-III superintendent Dr. Ashley McMillian says they're most excited about what the program can do for its paraprofessionals.

SEMO President Carlos Vargas says the university is committed to parternships and continuing to help local schools.
