Chester Bridge Project on Schedule

(Perryville, Mo) The new Chester Bridge project, connecting the Perryville, Missouri and Chester, Illinois, areas is on schedule.

Area Engineer with MoDOT, Chris Crocker, says the plan for the new bridge features a cable stayed bridge similar to the one in Cape Girardeau.

According to Crocker the bridge will cost approximately $284 million.
