Commissioners Discuss Owl Creek Grand Opening

St. Francois Co., Mo. (KFMO) - St. Francois County Commissioners are looking forward to the grand opening of the new Owl Creek Park just west of Desloge and it was a highlight of discussion at Tuesday's St. Francois County Commission meeting.

Associate Commissioner, David Kater, says they'll celebrate the completion of phase 1 of the park's trail system.

According to Kater, the Grand Opening of Owl Creek Park is set for 11 a.m., Monday, November 4.

In other business at Tuesday's St. Francois County Commission meeting, the hiring of additional Sheriff's Deputies was approved as a part of the passage of the "Proposition P" saftey proposal approved by St. Francois County voters.
