Death Investigation Underway in Park Hills

Park Hills, Mo. (KFMO) - An investigation is underway in Park Hills, after a woman was found deceased in a motel room at Rosener's Inn.

According to the Park Hills Police Department, the woman had been dead for several days. An arrest had been made, on Wednesday, July 31, for abandonment of a corpse, however no charges have been filed, according to the St. Francois County Prosecuting Attorney's Office. The man told police that he and the deceased had overdosed on Tuesday, July 23. When he woke up the next day, he couldn't wake the woman up, panicked and left. No foul play is suspected.
