Desloge Couple has 73rd Anniversary

(Desloge, MO) A married couple from Desloge, James and Louise Adams, are going to celebrate their 73rd wedding anniversary this July. KFMO B104 News spoke with the couple on this important milestone and Louise told us they met on a blind date in Fredericktown. Louise explains after that first date James began to call on her regularly.

Donna Adams Burkhalter, James and Louise's eldest daughter, says her parents were from completely different backgrounds.

The couple's oldest son, Larry Adams, says his parents focused on activities with their family and making sure they, and their children, were always at church.

James and Louise Adams say they look forward to the rest of their lives together and they're grateful for being blessed to have had each other all these years. James is turning 100 years old this weekend and Louise is 94. That's James and Louise Adams getting ready to celebrate 73 years of marriage in the Parkland.
