Desloge Solar Street Lights

(Desloge, MO.) Members of the Desloge Board of Aldermen are looking into the possibility of using solar powered street lights in one of the town's subdivisions. City Administrator, Dan Bryan, says the lights were discussed at Monday night's Desloge Board of Aldermen meeting.

In other business Court Amnesty week was announced. It's going to be held September 8th through the 11th. Aldermen also decided to fix a section of stormwater pipe now in the city park. The idea had been to wait until after the Desloge Labor day picnic yet now that it's been canceled Bryan says they decided to go ahead with the work. Desloge Fire department officials shared good news at the meeting concerning the city's new tanker truck. The truck is nearly ready for pick up soon. The anticipated delivery date was originally set for sometime between Thanksgiving and Christmas. According to Bryan the new tanker truck will be ready about Labor day instead.
