DeSoto Man Injured in Accident

Jefferson Co., Mo. (KFMO) - A DeSoto man is recovering from moderate injuries after an accident Monday evening, at 6:36 p.m., in Jefferson County.

According to the Missouri State Highway Patrol, 19-year-old Logan H. Stevenson was driving a motorcyle on Route Y, west of Russell Road, when the accident occurred. The motorcycle struck a deer and slid across the center line, and Stevenson was ejected. Stevenson was taken to Mercy Hospital Jefferson for treatment of his injuries.

The motorcycle recieved moderate damage. He was wearing a safety device at the time of the accident.
