Extreme Heat to Return to the Parkland

Park Hills, Mo. (KFMO) - Extreme heat is expected to return to the Parkland by Monday.

Temperatures will hover around 90 degrees Friday and Saturday and low 90's on Sunday. By Monday, temperatures will jump to the upper 90's, with some areas possibly hitting 100 degrees, continuing through Tuesday. Heat index values could hit between 100 - 105 degrees. Temperatures will decrease to the mid 90's for Wednesday and lower 90's for Thursday.

It is important to remember to use caution while out in the extreme heat.
