Farmington Fire Department Releases Monthly Report for November 2024

Farmington, Mo. (KFMO) - The Farmington Fire Department has released its November 2024 activity report, highlighting the department’s continued dedication to safety and community involvement. Firefighters responded to 301 calls, including 11 vehicle accidents, 110 medical emergencies, and 132 other incidents. Additionally, the department reported 26 instances of providing mutual aid.

The year-to-date statistics show a slight decrease in medical emergencies compared to 2023, with 1,454 reported so far this year compared to 1,463 during the same period last year. However, vehicle accidents increased, with 137 incidents in 2024 compared to 123 in 2023.

Key activities in November included assisting residents with smoke detector maintenance, hosting numerous community meetings in the fire department training room, completing pump testing on apparatus, and performing fire safety inspections.
