Farmington Helps Homeless Shelter Funding

Farmington, Mo. (KFMO) - The city of Farmington will assist the East Missouri Action Agency with it's shelter services for the homeless now that the shelter is open for overnight use during the late fall and winter months.

Farmington City Administrator, Greg Beavers, says they're using funds from the city's portion of major opioid lawsuit settlements to help the agency.

Beavers adds the shelter will be open for both day and night assistance into March of 2025. The shelter is located at 609 Wallace Road in Farmington.
