Farmington Homecoming Parade to Cause Road Closures Friday

Farmington, Mo. (KFMO) - Farmington residents should expect road closures on Friday, September 27, as the Farmington School District Homecoming Parade makes its way through downtown.

The closures will begin at approximately 1:15 p.m. to accommodate the parade route. The parade will start at Farmington High School, proceeding down Columbia Street before turning onto Liberty Street and making its way back to the high school. Streets along the parade route will reopen immediately after the event concludes. The city reminds residents and visitors that parking will not be permitted along the parade route during the closure. Drivers are encouraged to plan alternate routes and exercise caution in the area until the streets are reopened.

The Homecoming Parade is a highlight of the community’s festivities, and the city asks for patience and cooperation as students and community members celebrate the occasion.
