Farmington, Mo. (KFMO) - The Farmington Police Department is assisting DFS with an investigation at a residence in the City of Farmington.
An initial investigation began on Wednesday, June 5, when officers were called to the residence for sexual misconduct involving a child. On Thursday, June 6, while at the residence with DFS, the father of the child disclosed another incident that he had witnessed that morning.
The mother of the children was located in the home and was taken into custody regarding the previous days incident and additional charges were being filed for the incident on June 6.
Charges have been forwarded to the St. Francois County Prosecuting Attorney's Office of Sexual Misconduct involving a child, Child Molestation, Tampering with Evidence, and Assault - 4th degree are being sought on the 32-year-old mother of the children.
