Farmington Parks Improvements on the Way

Farmington, Mo. (KFMO) - With the extension of the quarter cent sales tax in Farmington, last April, through voter approval, city officials are approving funds to back up, and replace, certain items at some of the city's parks buildings.

Farmington City Administrator, Greg Beavers, says the first item of business will be the city sports complex.

According to Beavers, members of the city council approved borrowing $8 million for those improvements and others, including a list of items for the water park and other parks facilities.
