Farmington Teen Injured in Crash

(St. Francois County, MO) An unidentified 17 year old Farmington girl is suffering serious injuries while a man from Desloge, 18-year-old Leonard Martin, is recovering from moderate injuries following a 1 vehicle crash in St. Francois County Tuesday afternoon. According to the Missouri Highway Patrol, Martin was driving an SUV on Route H, north of Route AA at around 4:45, when he lost control of the vehicle and it went off the right side of the road, hit a tree, then overturned. Martin, who was not wearing his seatbelt, was taken to Parkland Health Center at Farmington. The teen, who was wearing her seatbelt, was airlifted to St. Louis Children's Hospital.
