12/24/21 11:00PM Update to original story: Authorities confirm there are no injuries after a fire that destroyed a home and damaged another, plus a church, on Houser Street in Park Hills, Thursday night. Park Hills Fire Cheif, Brad Weiss tells KFMO B104 News they aren't sure what started the blaze at 402 Houser. The house had already collapsed as firefighters arrived shortly after 7 o'clock. Weiss adds the heat was so intense the home next door received fire damage to it's siding and the windows were melted out. There was also fire in the attic but it was contained quickly. The siding on the church on the other side of the burning structure was melted off. Someone was living in the home where the fire began but no one was their at the time it started.

(Park Hills, MO) One structure is a total loss, and another is damaged, after a residential structure fire in the 400 block of Houser Street in Park Hills Thursday evening. Firefighters were called to the blaze a little after 7 o'clock. Upon their arrival the structure, which was next door to the Flat River Church of God, was engulfed in flames. Preliminary reports indicate the residence may have been vacant. Officials are also assessing damage to a home next door. Several fire departments were involved in fighting the blaze.
