Flooding Concerns While Driving

(St. Francois County, MO) With rain in this week's forecast, and Spring emerging March 19th, St. Francois County Emergency Management officials are urging drivers to be cautious when facing high water situations. St. Francois County Sheriff, Dan Bullock, says if you see water running over the road it's always best to stop and wait for it to recede or find another route.

Bullock explains when someone drives off into water over the road, and gets washed off into rushing water, they're putting themselves, anyone in their vehicle, and the lives of rescuers on the line.
