Friday Accident in St. Francois County

(St. Francois County, MO) A woman from Ironton, 21 year old Shailyn Robinson, and a man from Fredericktown, 54 year old Floyd J. Hodges, are recovering from serious in juries after they were hurt in a two vehicle wreck Friday morning in St. Francois County. According to reports from the Highway Patrol the wreck took place at 8:35 as Hodges fell asleep at the wheel causing his pick up to cross over the center line and strike the left bumper of Robinson's car. Both vehicles ran off the west side of the highway. They were both flown to Mercy Hospital South at St. Louis. Robinson was wearing her seat belt during the wreck while Hodges was not.
