Garage Fire in Jefferson County Extinguished Without Injuries

Jefferson Co., Mo. (KFMO) - No injuries are being reported after a structure fire in the 2300 block of Stonehouse Road, in Jefferson County, mobilized multiple fire crews Saturday night.

At 7:55 p.m., Jefferson County 911 dispatched emergency teams to the scene of a large detached garage engulfed in flames. Hillsboro Fire Protection Districtarrived at 8:04 p.m. and confirmed the structure was fully involved. Crews deployed multiple hand-lines to combat the blaze. Three additional mutual aid companies were called to assist with water supply and manpower. The fire was brought under control by 8:40 p.m., but the garage's contents and the collapse of its roof complicated extinguishing hotspots and conducting overhaul operations.

The fire was extinguished, and the Fire Marshal launched an investigation. While the cause remains undetermined, authorities confirmed no foul play is suspected.
