Grieving is a Healthy Response

Park Hills, Mo. (KFMO) - National Grief Awareness Day takes place August 30, and  officials with the Helping Hands group, at Southeast Missouri Mental Health Center at Farmington, are talking about the effects it has on those experiencing it.

The Educational Chair for Helping Hands, Walt Barron, says grief comes in many forms.

Accordoing to Barron, if a person doesn't greive the pain can manifest itself in other ways like blood presure, stomach, or anxiety problems.
