Heat Advisory Extended

(St. Francois County, MO) Officials with the National Weather Service are extending the heat advisory for the area. It's now set to expire at 7 pm Friday evening. With Friday's predicted high to be 93 degrees in the Parkland, Weather Service Meteorologists say our humidity will help push the heat index to 102. Health experts ask you to limit your time outside and drink plenty of fluids. Do not leave children or pets inside your vehicle, and be sure to look after your neighbors and family members.
