Heating Assistance from the EMAA

(Park Hills, MO) Heating assistance applications for households with a resident over 60 years of age, or who is disabled, are being accepted now by the East Missouri Action Agency. A Program Manager with the EMAA, Rob Baker, says payments from the state, through this part of the program, won't start until November.

Baker explains heating assistance applications for the general public aren't accepted until November with payments on an account beginning in December. According to Baker you can pick up a new application at the Park Hills or Desloge location of the East Missouri Action Agency.
