Henderson On Session

State Representative Mike Henderson says he is pleased with the recent legislative session and the measures legislators passed. There aren't as many bills going to the Governor this session as last yet, Henderson explains the amount of legislation isn't as important as its content.

According to Henderson one of his bills, the School Turn Around Bill, was approved by House Members and Senators. Henderson tells us the measure would have the Department of Elementary and Secondary Education, or D.E.S.E., identify school buildings, not districts, that are unsuccessful across Missouri.
