Highway Patrol Says Be Prepared For Winter Weather

Park Hills, Mo. (KFMO) - With snow predicted this week Highway Patrol officials are reminding us to be prepared. The Patrol's Corporal Dallas Thompson says now is the time to look ahead.

Thompson also says it's also a good idea to check with your employer and have an emergency plan ready for possibly working from home and to have a special winter weather kit in your vehicle if you become stranded while traveling.

According to Thompson, it's also a good idea to check the Missouri Department of Transportation's Traveler Information Map and to check local media for current and projected weather conditions.
