Juveniles Injured in Pick Up Crash

(Washington County, MO) Four juveniles, two 15 year old males from and two 16 year old males, all from Potosi, are suffering injuries after a pick up crash Friday afternoon in Washington County at 4:30. Highway Patrol records indicate the pick up was traveling south on Victory Lane, south of Highway 8, when it ran off the right side of the road. The 16 year old male juvenile who was driving overcorrected and the pick up ran off the left side of the road. It then crashed into a fence and a tree. One of the 15 year olds, and a 16 year old passenger, were seriously injured. The other 15 year old was moderately injured while the 16 year old driver received minor injuries. They were all wearing safety devices when the crash occurred. The 15 and 16 year olds with serious injuries were taken to St. Louis Children's Hospital in St. Louis. The 15 year old with moderate injuries, and the 16 year old driver with minor injuries, were taken to Washington County Memorial Hospital.
