Marble Hill Man Killed in Accident

Bollinger Co., Mo. (KFMO) - An 87-year-old man from Marble Hill, Jacob M. Dunn, is dead after he was involved in a two vehicle crash in Bollinger County Friday afternoon just after 5 p.m.

According to the Missouri State Highway Patrol, Dunn was driving an ATV west on Route OO, 7 miles south of Patton. An SUV driven west by 18-year-old Wyatt S. Welker, of Marble Hill, came up behind Dunn's ATV and failed to stop crashing into the vehicle.

Dunn was not wearing a safety device during the wreck. Dunn was taken to St. Francis Medical Center at Cape Girardeau where he was pronounced dead. Welker was not injured.
