Marijuana Tax on April Ballot

(St. Francois County, MO) St. Francois County Voters will be asked to approve a 3% sales tax on recreational marijuana in the April elections. The Associate Commissioner for the county's District 2, David Kater, says Missouri counties will have to pass their own rate of tax on legal marijuana.

Commissioners approved the placement of the marijuana tax on the April ballot at their last meeting in December.
