Park HIlls Police are looking for the driver of what appears to be a delivery type box truck that is seen in surveillance video backing into the mine cart flower pot located next to New Era Bank on West Main near Science Street. Park HIlls Police Chief Richard McFarland tells KFMO B104 news they're trying to identify the driver, or the company. The incident happended Wednesday night. The flower cart was built by the middle school and high school shop classes of the Central School District for the Park Hills Garden Club and Downtowen Park Hills Association. It was suspected the flower pot was damaged by vandals however after viewing the video it appears the damage may have been accidental.

(Park Hills, MO) Park Hills Police investigators are looking for whoever is responsible for vandalizing one of the mine cart flower pots in the downtown area sometime Wednesday night. The flower carts were built by the middle school and high school shop classes of the Central School District for the Park Hills Garden Club and Downtown Park Hills Association. Park Hills Police Chief Richard McFarland says his team is combing through surveillance videos from local businesses for clues. He adds the city is working to make the downtown area nicer and acts of senseless vandalism like this will be met with criminal charges for property damage.
