Park Hills, Mo. (KFMO) - Harvey Faircloth has been inducted as Mineral Area College's first Trustee Emeritus.
Faircloth was honored at the latest MAC Board of Trustees meeting on Thursday. Mineral Area College President Dr. Joe Gilgour said Faircloth is dedicated to his community.
Faircloth served 18 years on the Mineral Area College Board of Trustees before retiring in April of 2023. He received the college's Distinguished Service Award later that same year.
In addition to several other roles in the community, he has been the announcer for Central High School football for 49 years, and Central basketball for 31 years.
