MoDOT Announces Temporary Ramp Closure on I-55 to U.S. Route 67

Jefferson Co., Mo. (KFMO) - Starting Thursday, October 24, drivers should be prepared for changes as MoDOT will temporarily close the southbound Interstate 55 loop ramp to northbound U.S. Route 67.

The closure is set to begin at 9 p.m. on Thursday, with southbound I-55 traffic directed to use a newly modified exit at Exit 174 to access northbound Route 67. After exiting at Exit 174, motorists traveling to northbound U.S. Route 67 will navigate through a newly constructed roundabout to continue on their route. MoDOT urges drivers to stay alert and follow signage to ensure a smooth transition through the modified route. This closure is part of ongoing infrastructure improvements in the area.
