New Details Released in Officer-Involved Shooting

(Imperial, MO) New details are being released from the Jefferson County Sheriff’s Office, relating to the officer involved shooting that took place Thursday morning in Imperial.

45-year-old Terry Pfeffer, of Arnold, was shot and killed by officers with the St. Louis Metropolitan Police Department, after Pfeffer fired shots at police from a stolen truck during a vehicle pursuit. Sheriff Dave Marshak gives details about the incident.

Pfeffer has a lengthy criminal history, including drug charges, gun charges, assault, tampering with a motor vehicle, and resisting arrest.

A handgun was recovered at the scene. No officers or citizens were injured in this incident.

Jefferson County Sheriff’s Office personnel will complete a thorough investigation and release any further information when and if it is necessary.
