North County High School Addresses Firearm Report in Parking Lot

Bonne Terre, Mo. (KFMO) - North County High School (NCHS) administration has addressed a report regarding an alleged firearm incident that occurred in the school's parking lot after hours.

According to a letter sent to parents and guardians, NCHS administration received information alleging that an adult was in possession of a firearm in the parking lot. School officials stated that the individual and the firearm were never inside any NCHS building.

Upon receiving the report, school administrators immediately contacted local law enforcement, and an investigation into the matter began. Officials confirmed that the situation has since been resolved.
