November Election Local Contested Races

Park Hills, Mo. (KFMO) - With the November election being called one of the most important elections in our history, there are several contested races Parkland registered voters will decide.

There are three candidates for Eighth District Congressman including incumbent Republican Jason Smith, Democrat Randi McCallian, and Libertarian Party candidate Jake Dawson.

In the State Senate District 3 race the current Representative of the 117th District, Republican Mike Henderson, is facing off against Democrat Doug Halbert.

The incumbent candidate for State Representative of District 116, Republican Dale Wright, goes against his Libertarian Party challenger, Ethan Jones.

In the 117th district Republican Becky Laubinger faces opponent Casey Cassiday.

In St. Francois County the Commissioner position in District 1 is being sought by Republican Incumbent, Kary Buckley as he hopes to retain his seat against the opposing candidate Democrat T.J. Benoist.
