November Election State Amendment 7 Details

Park Hills, Mo. (KFMO) - In our final story from the KFMO B104 News series of stories on the Missouri State Constitutional Amendments on next Tuesday's ballot we look at Amendment 7.

Missouri Secretary of State, John Ashcroft, says the main idea behind the amendment would prohibit the use of ranked choice voting which causes voters to rank the candidates from their favorite to least favorite making them essentially vote for everyone.

Ashcroft explains he feels our current system of voting has always worked well.

The amendment would also allow for only United States citoizens to vote in elections.

Be sure to tune in Tuesday night after the polls close for complete election night coverage on AM 1240, KFMO.
