Parkland Winter Wind Chill Advisory

(St. Francois County, MO) A wind chill advisory is in effect for the Parkland until noon Tuesday. Dangerously cold wind chill values are expected to continue across the area through tonight. The lowest values are expected across central and northeast Missouri as well as west central Illinois. Light snow is likely late this afternoon and evening. Very light snowfall amounts are forecast but still have the potential to cause minor impacts to the evening commute. Very cold wind chills are being felt sometimes as low as 20 below zero. Hypothermia or frostbite if are possible if precautions are not taken. Use caution while traveling outside by wearing appropriate clothing, a hat, and gloves.
