Parson Visiting Bonne Terre Parkland Facility

(Bonne Terre, MO) Missouri Governor Mike Parson is traveling to BJC HealthCare’s Parkland Health Center Bonne Terre location for a ceremonial signing of House Bill 402 Wednesday afternoon. The measure features provisions that will alter the definition of a hospital in statute to include rural emergency hospitals. It will also help advanced practice registered nurses, or APRNs, practice to the full extent of their training and licensure. These modifications will help improve health care access for rural communities.
